had a pretty cool opportunity to paint one of those grey electrical boxes that you see out in the streets of the city, here's mine.... it's all spray paint and is on the corner of Tremont St., Columbus Ave. and Malcom X near Roxbury Crossing.

International Print Center New York presents New Prints 2009/Winter in its gallery at 526 West 26th Street, Room 824, between 10th and 11th Avenues in Chelsea. On view from January 14 until February 21, 2009, the show consists of fifty-four works by forty-eight emerging to established artists. An Opening Reception will be held at IPCNY on January 14, from 6-8 pm.My print "Three Points Per" (etching w/ chine colle) will be on display. Available for sale, printed in an edition of 20.

in New York City opens an exhibition of prints from Center Street Studio.
Artists include: Teo Gonzalez, Markus Linnenbrink, Carrie Moyer, James Ovid Mustin III, Charles Ritchie, Richard Ryan, Kelly Sherman,James Stroud, Bill Thompson, Roger Tibbetts, George Whitman, and Janine Wong.

Opening reception Thursday, November 22 6-9 pm.

A project from 2007, I was invited to create a print with James Stroud at Center Street Studio.
The result is O3, a 3 x 4 foot copper plate drypoint drawn with an electric engraving tool. Each sheet of paper is first painted with color ‘fills’ using spray paint. The copper plate containing the outline is then printed in black over the color to complete each image. This is an open edition print yielding a series of unique versions.
